Real Time Demise: 20-July-2005
Tarj was a giant of a man, who joined the cult of Humakt at an early age. Though he fought valiantly, and mastered many weapons, the sages suspect that he must have offended Humakt in some subtle sense since all luck in battle (and most everything else) deserted Tarj in the weeks before his eventual demise.
Over a short space of time Tarj was infected with an alien heart and commanded to the service of an evil sorceress. While in this enforced servitude he had the misfortune to be knocked overboard from an ocean-going ship. He survived, but lost his much loved two handed sword along with its bladesharp matrix. Reeling from this loss he was bitten by a venomous spider-like creature and almost died. He survived but lost the use of his left arm and was also turned green as a side-effect. Shortly thereafter he was possessed by a chaos demon simply called "Knife". While under Knife's command, Tarj tried to drink from a chalice brimming with raw chaos and was destroyed. Utterly.
We commend his soul to Humakt. If we can find it. In the meantime, the party continue to carry the "Tarj Memorial Bucket". Sages still dispute the original purpose of this object.
