Andra is not really dead, but she is currently in the underworld. She was a founder member of the adventuring party, and became a skilled initiate. Her herbal stews and stern rebukes became almost as legendary as her ability to put the party back together again. On her travels she achieved many things, including an accidental heroquest where she saved Yelm from Orlanth as the latter attempted to kill the former and usurp his throne. Although this had the side effect of emasculating every Orlanthi priest in the vicinity, Andra came to the notice of Yelm who rewarded her with some power to smite undead.
However, during the battle to save the Giant's Cradle from the Lunars she was obliged to help the Nymph, Nemolayope, nurse the giant Child through the birth and subsequent trip to the underworld where she remains...
