Mark was sitting in the
“Oh just go without her,” called Jason.
“No, there has to be a reason she’s late,” answered Mark. “Tiny,
take the
“OK,” said Tiny.
When they had got inside Centre Neptune there was no Zark.
“Maybe he’s oiling himself,” squawked Keyop.
“Yes, let’s go and see if he is,” said Mark, “then we can give him a surprise.”
They all crept into Zark’s room expecting Zark to be there with Princess chatting to her but…
“Where are they?” asked Jason
“I don’t know,” answered Mark. “We have searched everywhere for them, I can’t think where they could be.”
“Could Zoltar be behind this?” asked Tiny.
“No,” said Mark. “I think we have proved to him he can’t beat G-Force!”
“Yes but there’s no-where else they could have gone is there?”
“I suppose that’s true but”…
“…Mark, Security Chief Anderson wants to talk to you on your bracelet,” said Keyop.
“Mark,” came over the bracelet, “I want you to know there have been six mysterious kidnaps and … AAAHH HELP.”
“What was that all about?” said Mark to Jason, “six kidnaps!”
“You are right. This is the sort of thing Spectra would think up and Zoltar has not invaded earth for a long, long time.”
“Tiny go to Spectra and look for a ship with hostages in it.” When they reached Spectra…
“Wow, would you not like to drive that ship Mark? It’s huge! ”
“That must be where the hostages are taken, I hope Princess is all right and stopping Zark from talking too much. If Zark talks too much he might easily get blown up. Spectrans stand no nonsense from anyone, robot or not.”
“Hey I can see some old familiar faces down there,” said Tiny.
“Yes the Spectrans,” said Jason, “let’s blow them up.”
“No, Jason,” said Mark. “If there are hostages there we might hit them as well as the Spectrans.”
“Look,” said Tiny, “another ship is coming in and Zoltar’s in it.”
“Me, Jason and Keyop had better go down there then,” said Mark.
“Oh, why can’t I ever go down?” moaned Tiny.
“Because we really need you to fly the
“We’re coming,” said Jason, “look they’re all going into that castle thing, let’s follow them in there.”
When they’d got there, Zoltar was making a speech which was:
“We’ve done well in the kidnapping and we’ve even got one member of G-Force, and two friends of G-Force, therefore we gather here today to watch them die.”
“Yuk,” squawked Keyop, “do we really have to watch it?”
“No we don’t, we have to rescue them, come on.”
They crept downstairs, the Spectrans were just coming in. “Look there’s a little door over there we can hide there and then destroy the party.”
The executioner was coming in.
“Right, here’s our chance,” said Mark, “you two stay here I might need you to come out later.”
“Right,” said Jason, “good luck.
Zoltar was just about to make his second speech when Mark glided over.
“Sorry to spoil the party Zoltar, but we would like Princess, Zark and Chief Anderson back.”
“What, you think I would give them away?” asked Zoltar. “Get him men.”
“Jason, Keyop, come here,” called Mark, “time to do whirlwind pyramid.”
When they had done it none of the Spectrans were standing up and the executioner was lying on Zoltar’s head!
“Time we went back to the
“You’re right,” said Mark, “but first I’m going to find the other hostages.”
“Right.” said Jason.
While Mark was trying to free Princess Zark and Chief Anderson from a glass cage the Spectrans got up and surrounded him. Mark was trapped! He turned to Jason and Keyop for help but they had been captured as well, and the next thing he knew he was in the dungeons of the castle not sure where Jason or Keyop were, all he knew was that there were Spectrans guarding the iron bars of his dungeon. Suddenly he heard a noise that was Jason’s voice.
“That stupid horrid toad he’s too fond of killing people,” muttered Jason.
“Jason, I’m going to contact Tiny and see if he can rescue us,” said Mark.
“Oh, right,” said Jason, “what are you expecting him to do? Walk up to Zoltar and say please let me in so I can rescue the people you have caught?”
“No,” said Mark, “but he could crawl through the fire escape, actually that gives me an idea I’m right next to the wall. I can fly up, pull the vent off the wall and fly out. Then I can see if I can get a security ship and if anyone wants to help me and Tiny, I will let them.”
“No,” said Jason, “let Keyop go, he can fit through better, actually we could all escape.”
“No Jason,” said Mark. “If we all go the Spectrans will notice easily and Keyop gets too over excited. If you can find out where Keyop is ask him if he knows where the other prisoners are.”
“Right,” said Jason, “good luck Mark.”
Mark flew up to the vent and pulled it off the wall and flew out when Jason realised that Keyop was in the cell next to him. Mark had just told Tiny to wait outside.
Tiny flew the
“Where have you been?” asked Tiny.
“It’s a long story but I will cut it short by saying we were rescuing and then we needed rescuing.”
“OK I’m going back to Earth,” said Tiny once he’d got the whole story out of Mark.
“Yes, go and get the ISO security,” said Mark, “then head back to Spectra, fast.”
When Tiny and Mark had explained what the ISO would do they all refused. All except one, he looked a bit like one of the Spectrans Mark thought but he didn’t suspect anything.
The rest had refused because if G-Force couldn’t beat Zoltar this time they certainly couldn’t! While Mark and Tiny were going back to spectra the ISO security man looked at everything then he took off his ISO uniform to show what he was wearing underneath. Mark’s guess had been close but it was Zoltar not a Spectran soldier.
He looked at Mark and smiled nastily.
“It’s a shame we have to fight on your ship. I thought you might like to end this battle, but don’t get too over excited I am Zoltar, commander of Spectra, and I will win.”
“You will not,” said Mark through gritted teeth. “G-Force is as good as you and I ‘m sorry but the party’s over, you’re so stupid, we didn’t invite you to the party.”
“Which party will that be then?” asked Zoltar, “this is a battle, not a party.”
Mark got his sonic boomerang out and aimed, it hit Zoltar in his face Zoltar ran
forward to hit Mark but Mark dodged and Zoltar was
sent head first into the wall. He used the door G-Force went out of and glided
out of the
“You really showed him what G-Force can do, Mark,” said Tiny.
“Well really I just lost my temper,” said Mark, “shall we race Zoltar to Spectra Tiny?
“Big ten,”said Tiny.
When they had got back to Spectra Zoltar was not there he was not even in the Crab Nebula! Mark had an idea. “Tiny you distract the Spectrans and I will get the rest out, if I don’t do it soon Jason will strangle me and that won’t be pleasant.”
“But you don’t know where Princess, Zark and Anderson are,” said Tiny.
“Well I will have to find them,” said Mark.
“Big Ten,” said Tiny.
“OK keep distracting the Spectrans for as long as you can,” said Mark, “I need as much time as I can get.”
Tiny hovered so Mark could get out but then he found a place where there were lots of Spectrans and landed there. Meanwhile Mark had got Jason and Keyop out but he couldn’t find Princess, Zark and Anderson.
“I saw them,” squawked Keyop.
“Where?” asked Mark.
“In the orange corridor with pictures of Spectrans on it,” answered Keyop, “and it leads out of the place where Princess was going to get killed.”
“Great,” said Mark, “you lead us there, we will follow you.”
They got to the orange corridor with pictures of Spectrans on.
“Where are the doors?” asked Jason.
“The Spectrans have to put

They saw Zoltar appear from the roof.
“Greetings earthlings, my guards saw the commander rescuing you, but are you sure you want to see your friends? Well, I will give you your wish, down you go!” The floor crumbled beneath them and even Jason only just had time to call Zoltar the Purple Freak.
“Why did you come?” asked
“We didn’t know that was going to happen did we?” demanded Jason.
“Yes the Purple Freak caught us out for once,” added Mark “but it won’t happen again.”
“You won’t get a chance for it to happen again,” said
“Can’t he?” asked Jason, “that’s a shame because I can.”
“Don’t be silly, Jason,” said
“I can.” repeated Jason, “do whirlwind pyramid.”
“And what about us?” said
“We will rescue you later,” answered Mark.
“Yes we will,” agreed Keyop, “see you later.”
“What’s happening?” screamed Zoltar, “not G-Force again?”
“It’s us again I’m afraid,” said Mark.
“AAGGHH!” yelled Zoltar running away.
“Get him, Jason!” shouted Mark.
Jason ran after Zoltar but the base had an emergency escape ship for Zoltar and Jason couldn’t quite get in.
“Right, we go and get Anderson, Zark and Princess now,” said Mark.
“Do we have to?” asked Jason but one glare from Mark gave him his answer.
“Come on, we made a hole when we did whirlwind pyramid so let’s go through it again.” said Mark.

hovered and landed in the
“I thought there were more hostages.” said Tiny.

“What?” said Keyop.
“They’re dead,” said
“Well,” said Mark slowly, “at least you’re not.”
Mark was cross that they had been too slow, so was Jason. He thought they should have been quicker to find the hostages.
“How long till we get to Earth?” asked
“37 minutes,” answered Tiny, “one of the real ISO guards will let us in to Centre Neptune.”
“I’m glad we defeated Zoltar,” said Jason.
“We did,” said Mark, “but he will
be back again.”
